Painter Myrto Vrana was born in Plomari, Lesbos, Greece in 1948. From her young age she studied art and her studies were not limited to painting. She got a degree in Technical Design from Palmer School. She studied Graphic Arts at Doxiades School and the Dramatic School of Dimitris Konstantinidis. At the same time she attended special lessons in painting with the painter Maria Siokou. In Rome, she graduated from Accademia Belle Arti Scenografia, specializing in model painting. She has taken part in group exhibitions of painting in 1970, 1971 and 1972 signing as Myrto Goghen in Athens, 1973 in Thessaloniki and 2011 in Kaminia. [Biography updated on: 22/3/2018]
